2016 Water-Energy Draft Funding Recommendations

On January 31, 2017, DWR released Draft Funding Recommendations and two options for post project monitoring for the 2016 Water-Energy Grant Program. DWR accepted public comments between January 31 and February 14, 2017. Please see the Public Comments page for more information.

*Commercial Faucets and Showerheads: Please note that revisions have been made to the calculated GHG emission reductions for 2016 Water-Energy grant applications including commercial faucets and or commercial showerheads. The adjustments were necessary to avoid double counting the water/energy savings and the GHG emission reductions. Specifically, for Commercial Faucets the “Number of Employees per Day” in the “Commercial Inputs” tab refers to the Number of Employees per device rather than the total number of employees covered by the Project. This is also true for the “Number of Guests per Day” in the “Commercial Inputs” tab. Similarly, for Commercial Showerheads the “Number of Employees” refers to the number of employees per device rather than the total number of employees covered by the Project. During the application review process the DWR technical reviewer made the revisions to all the applicable proposals.
